Meet our Tutors/Authors:

Aubrey Chapin taught beginning and advanced ESL classes, both in group and private lessons, for 2 years in Eastern Europe. She is conversationally fluent in 5 languages. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America. Aubrey enjoys meeting international students and helping them achieve their language learning goals.

Jill Judd has been tutoring private students for 5 years. She worked for a 4-star hotel in China implementing an English training program for the hotel’s employees. She has also worked in a high school ESL program and taught American Culture classes to international university students. She and her husband host international students in their home. She has traveled to Malawi, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and India. 

Crystal Steele has traveled to China and Taiwan where she conducted English Corners and has also traveled to Mexico and France. She has also had the opportunity to teach English to medical researchers working in Oklahoma City.  She taught English conversation classes and international cooking classes on a university campus on a volunteer basis.  She enjoys traveling to other countries and meeting people. 

Ann Lawrence taught English as a volunteer in Boston and the Greater Worcester area in Massachusetts for 5+ years. Ann has primarily worked with more advanced students rather than beginners but enjoys teaching both. She received training to teach and has also been certified as a trainer for other volunteers to teach English as a Second Language.
Emily Streetman has a taught English as a Second Language to elementary students in Moscow Russia, to university students in China, and to international students in the US.  Along with studying the languages of the various countries in which she has resided, she also studied French in college.

Nyla Westberry holds a BA in English.  She taught English training courses with an emphasis on writing skills.
